The Milestone Of First Communion (New York Portrait Photographer)

Whew! feels like I haven't blogged in forever. Time to play a little catch up......
Jordan will always hold a special place in my heart as the first baby I photographed after opening my new studio. Seeing her pictures again shows me how much I've learned about newborns over the years! When her Mom brought her in last May for her Communion portraits, and seeing her all posed and grown up in her Communion dress, brought home the fact that the years just rush by in what seems to be a blink of an eye. Now I have photographed Jordan for Christmas and her birthday over the years, but seeing her all done up gave me a glimpse of the beautiful young woman she will become in the near future. And I couldn't help remembering that it was just yesterday I took her first portraits......

Thankful for Small Miracles (New York Newborn Photographer)

Taking a Look Back (Staten Island Communion Portraits)

Whew! It's been a busy summer. We had more sittings this July and August than any other summer, the majority of them being brand new babies. More on that in the next post. As you can see by the state of my blog, I had a hard time juggling it all, especially with the kids home from school. Now that everyone is going back and routines are starting again, we're going to try some new routines here at the studio too. Anticipating that we will continue to be busy through this holiday season, sittings will only be scheduled from Friday to Monday, so the rest of the week can be focused on expediting orders. We will also have a strict cutoff date for holiday sittings of December 7th, 2011, so make your appointments as soon as possible. I know it's hard to think about the holidays at the start of a new school year, but they will be here before we know it.

With that out of the way, I'd like to share some images I planned to post in June before the summer rush. These are just a few of our beautiful second graders that received their First Holy Communion this year. Congratulations to them all!
